When a full truckload makes sense

Below that, a part load is usually cheaper. If you are unsure, send the details and we tell you which option costs less.

  • Your shipment fills more than about half a trailer by length or weight
  • The goods should not be reloaded on the way
  • Loading and delivery dates are fixed and tight

Trailer types we book

  • Standard curtainsider: 13.6 m long, about 2.45 m wide and 2.7 m high inside, 33 Euro pallets, up to 24 tonnes. Loads from the side, rear or top.
  • Mega trailer: same floor, about 3 m inside height for light, bulky goods.
  • Box trailer: closed sides, for goods that must stay dry and protected.
  • Tail lift: on request, for sites without a loading ramp.

We do not currently take temperature-controlled goods, dangerous goods (ADR) or high-value electronics. We would rather say so now than after you have sent the details.

What we need for a price

  • Loading and delivery address with postcode
  • Loading date and the latest delivery date
  • Number and type of pallets, or length, width and height
  • Total gross weight and whether the goods can be stacked
  • How the truck is loaded: ramp, forklift from the side, crane

Questions about full truckloads

Is the price fixed?

Yes. You get one price per order in writing. It is based on the data you send, so if weight, dates or addresses change, we confirm the new price before the truck moves.

Do I get the truck details before pickup?

Yes. You receive the registration number and, where needed, the driver contact before the truck arrives.

Can you deliver to several receivers?

Yes, multi-drop loads are possible. List all delivery addresses in the request and we price it as one order.
